Meet the Local Author
Claudia Hurst-Vásquez is an educator, author, and founder of Bilingual Beginning. A native Spanish speaker with a background in design and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, Claudia has spent more than 15 years helping children discover Spanish through play, music, movement, art, and hands-on learning. She also writes and illustrates children’s books, blending her love of language, creativity, and teaching to make Spanish approachable and fun for young learners
